SPINAL SURGERYThe department provides a regional and supraregional service for disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine including lumbar disc prolapse (sciatica), cervical disc disorders and lumbar stenosis. Consultants also provide a service for complex spinal disorders including spinal cancer, rheumatoid arthritis and cervical deformity.The spinal service is closely integrated with Consultants in Pain management and experienced spinal physiotherapists. Patients have access to a comprehensive pain management programme.
